Eclipse year - Shokunen (English spelling)

The period between the passage of the Sun through one of the nodes of the ecliptic and the next. It is called the synodic period of the lunar nodes. It lasts about 346.62 days and is one of the cycles of eclipses. A 19-eclipse year is called a Saros, and when combined with other conditions, it is the most noticeable cycle of eclipses.
