In the Qing, he played an active role as a military commander. In the 1st year of the Sutoku era (36), he was appointed King of Zhishun and participated in the conquest of Korea. When the Qing dynasty advanced into mainland China, he fought in various places and made a great contribution to pacifying the country. In the 6th year of the same year, he became King of Pingnan, and then pacified Guangdong, and in the 13th year of the same year, he stationed himself in Guangzhou. When Geng Jimao moved to Fujian, he stationed himself in Guangdong and exerted his influence, becoming one of the three feudal domains. In the 12th year of the Kangxi era (73), he asked to retire, but was ordered to abolish the semi-independent feudal states, which led to the Three Feudal Rebellions. Kaki did not join the rebellion, but instead swore loyalty to the Qing dynasty and fought against the rebels, and in the 14th year of the Kangxi era, he was made Prince of Heinan. However, his eldest son, Nao Zhixin, joined the rebellion, and in 74, he became angry and attempted suicide in February of the 15th year, but failed. He died of illness in October. Emperor Kangxi praised his loyalty and had his son Nao Zhixiao give him a gracious funeral in his hometown of Haizhou.
