A collection of 50 stamped papers that attest to the transmission of ritual teachings in Shugendo. 3 volumes. It is said that Ashubo Sokuden expanded on the 33 letters (perhaps the Shugen Sanjusan Tsuki) that were written down by Chiko and Rengaku of Mt. Hiko during the Daiei era (1521-28). The original has not been handed down, but woodblock printed versions were in circulation during the Edo period and were valued as basic teachings and introductory books for Shugendo, with commentaries also being produced. It is counted as one of the five books of Shugendo. [Sasaki Tetsuya]

修験道における儀礼教義の伝授を証する印信切紙50通を集録した書。3巻。彦山の智光･蓮覚らが口伝を筆録して33通にまとめていた(《修験三十三通記》か)のを，大永年間(1521‐28)に阿吸房即伝が増補したといわれている。原本は伝わっていないが，江戸時代には木活字本が流布し，修験道の基本的な教義書，入門書として重視され，注釈書も作られた。修験五書の一つに数えられる。【佐々木哲哉】
