〘Noun〙 Buddhist term. 1. To not commit the ten evil deeds. These are the ten kinds of virtue: not killing, not stealing, not committing adultery , not lying , not speaking ill of others, not speaking slanderously , not double-talking, not greedy, not being angered, and not having wrong views . "The Sutra states that one can attain the five precepts in the lower body and the ten good deeds in the middle body of heaven." 2.
