An early Eastern legend about the cross on which Christ was crucified. When Adam died, his son Seth, by command of God, took three seeds from the Tree of Life in heaven and placed them under Adam's tongue. Later, these seeds grew on Adam's tomb and eventually became beautiful, large, thriving trees. In Solomon's time, the tree was intended to be used as a pillar in the temple, but was abandoned and used instead as a bridge over a stream. When the Queen of Sheba came across the bridge while visiting Solomon, she knelt down before it and warned Solomon of its miraculous powers, warning him of its fate.
