Also known as sex-separate plants. A condition in which female and male flowers are produced on separate individuals in seed plants, resulting in separate female and male plants. This is seen in ginkgo, cycad, juniper, mulberry, spinach, and gynostemma. This also refers to the production of male and female reproductive organs on separate individuals in plants other than seed plants, as seen in Spirogyra and Marchantia polymorpha. In seed plants, pollination is mediated by wind, insects, birds, and water, and in cases such as Marchantia polymorpha, sperm with flagella swim to reach the female flowers. → Related topicsAoki (Aoki)|Japanese laurel|Mallotus japonicus|Pandanus orbiculatus|Japanese knotweed|Yew (First place)|Belgium sieboldii|Boxwood|Welwitschia|Aralia aralia|Pitcher plant|Plum tree|Urashimasou|Uwabamisou|Siberian vine|Okra|Onishibari|Polygon|Branch tree|Katsura|Kanamugura|Canary palm|Kaya|Urushi gourd|Crowberry|Kannan bamboo|Kiwi fruit|Philosophyll|Cornflower|Carnation tree|Japanese knotweed|Japanese buckthorn|Japanese yarrow|Japanese yarrow|Laurus nobilis|Japanese laurel|Japanese bark|Japanese yarrow|Japanese yarrow|Japanese knotweed|Japanese knotweed|Japanese pepper (Mountain laurel)|Japanese laurel|Japanese knotweed|Japanese knotweed|Japanese knotweed|Japanese yarrow|Japanese pepper (Mountain laurel) Persimmon) | Shiode | Congo moss | Hermaphrodite | Palm | Palm bamboo | Shinju | Daphne | Sugar moss | Valliss | Japanese holly | Taima (cannabis) | Octopus tree | Japanese holly | Japanese laurel | Japanese maple | Japanese laurel | Japanese laurel | Japanese tobira | Japanese poplar | Nagi | Nagi raft | Bitter oak | Pussy willow | Japanese laurel | Japanese pine | Japanese pine |Hazenoki|Flowers|Hanaikada|Japanese maple|Papaya|Pampas grass|Japanese laurel|Pistachio|Citrus alba|Butterbur|Crassulaceae|Hops|Holly|Ephedra|Yellow-brown yam|Japanese laurel|Japanese laurel|Japanese laurel|Osmanthus|Ilex|Mistletoe|Dioscorea japonica|Japanese bayberry|Japanese plum|Japanese laurel Source : Heibonsha Encyclopedia About MyPedia Information |
