〘名〙① 大化前代、国家社会の秩序を乱すものとして、特に重く罰せられた一〇種の罪。謀反、謀大逆、謀叛、悪逆、不道、大不敬、不孝、不睦、不義、内乱の総称。中国の隋、唐の律によっている。〔唐六典‐尚書刑部〕② 仏語。身、口、意の三業(さんごう)が作る一〇種の罪悪。すなわち、殺生(せっしょう)・偸盗(ちゅうとう)・邪淫(じゃいん)の「身三」、妄語(もうご)・両舌(りょうぜつ)・悪口(あっく)・綺語(きご)の「口四」、貪欲(とんよく)・瞋恚(しんい)・邪見(じゃけん)の「意三」の総称。十悪業。※勝鬘経義疏(611)歎仏真実功徳章「離為十悪」 〔南斉書‐高逸伝論〕
