Shakudo
〘Noun〙① A copper alloy containing 3-6% gold. It is also called one with about 1% silver added to this. In Japan, it has been used since ancient times for crafts and bronze statues. When treated with copper sulfate or copper acetate solution, it produces a bluish-black color. Purple gold.
