Earache - jitsuu (English spelling) earache

Pain in the outer ear, middle ear, and surrounding areas. Causes include local inflammation, sudden changes in air pressure, radiating pain to adjacent organs such as the teeth, temporomandibular joint, and pharynx, and neuralgia of the glossopharyngeal nerve and superior laryngeal nerve. 外耳，中耳およびその周辺部の痛み。原因は局所の炎症や急激な気圧変化のほか，歯，顎関節，咽頭など隣接器官の疼痛の放散，舌咽神経や上喉頭神経などの神経痛によるものなどがある。また，神経性耳痛と呼ばれる心因性のものも報告されている。
