Test paper - Shikenshi

Filter paper that has been soaked in an indicator or various reagent solutions and then dried. There are various types of litmus paper, including litmus paper soaked in dye litmus, pH paper soaked in various acid-base indicators, test paper soaked in silver nitrate solution, lead sugar paper (lead acetate paper), potassium iodide starch paper, and curcuma paper, and they are used for confirmatory reactions in qualitative analysis.

指示薬や各種の試薬溶液をしみ込ませて乾燥させた沪紙．色素リトマスをしみ込ませたものをリトマス紙，種々の酸塩基指示薬をしみ込ませたpH試験紙，硝酸銀溶液をしみ込ませた試験紙，鉛糖紙(酢酸鉛紙)，ヨウ化カリウムデンプン紙，クルクマ紙などがあり，定性分析の確認反応に用いられる．
