Flow of Funds Accounts

Japanese: 資金循環表 - しきんじゅんかんひょう（英語表記）flow-of-funds accounts

The National Accounts are a set of financial statements that divide the national economy into business, individual, government, and financial institutions, and record the flow of funds between these sectors in a consistent manner by transaction type. While the National Income Accounts record the circulation of newly created products or added value in the national economy, the Flow of Funds Table is unique in that it clarifies the flow of financial funds, which is ignored in the former. In Japan, the Bank of Japan has been publishing the Financial Transaction Table and the Financial Assets and Liabilities Table since 1958.

国民経済を企業，個人，政府，金融機関などに分け，これら諸部門相互間の資金の流れを取引形態別に整合的に記録した統合表。国民所得勘定が，国民経済において新しく造出された生産物ないし付加価値の循環を記録するのに対して，資金循環表は，前者では捨象されている金融的な資金の流れを明らかにする点に特色がある。日本では 1958年以来日本銀行が『金融取引表』『金融資産負債残高表』を発表している。
