A city in Primorsky Krai, eastern Russia. It is located in the northern part of the Muravyov-Amursky Peninsula, 45 km northeast of Vladivostok. It has a population of 65,100 (2003 estimate). There are lignite fields that supply the nearby thermal power plant. Industries include piano, carpet, furniture, and ceramics manufacturing.
