Artyom (English spelling) Артём/Artyom

A city in Primorsky Krai, eastern Russia. It is located in the northern part of the Muravyov-Amursky Peninsula, 45 km northeast of Vladivostok. It has a population of 65,100 (2003 estimate). There are lignite fields that supply the nearby thermal power plant. Industries include piano, carpet, furniture, and ceramics manufacturing.

ロシア連邦東部、沿海地方の都市。ムラビヨフ・アムールスキー半島の北部、ウラジオストクの北東方45キロメートルにある。人口6万5100（2003推計）。褐炭田があり、付近の火力発電所に供給される。ピアノ、じゅうたん、家具、陶磁器製造などの工業がある。
