Reindeer herders who live in the tundra region from the Khatanga River in central Siberia to the Kara Sea in the far north of Europe. The four tribes who speak the Samoyedic language are the Nenets, the Ganasan, the Enets and the Serikup. Traditionally, they depended on reindeer for most of their food, clothing and shelter.
