Japanese: 寒川[町] - さんがわ

A former town in Okawa District, eastern Kagawa Prefecture. Occupying the basin of the Kabe River and the Tsuda River tributaries, rice cultivation using reservoir irrigation, tobacco and vegetable cultivation are thriving. The main settlement is Ishida along the Nagao Kaido road. In April 2002, it merged with Tsuda Town, Okawa Town, Shido Town and Nagao Town to form Sanuki City. ^{23.10 km2} . 6,041 people (2000).

A town on the east bank of the lower Sagami River in Koza District, Kanagawa Prefecture. It is served by the Sagami Line and the Ken-O Expressway, and is home to Samukawa Shrine, the Ichinomiya of Sagami Province. Flower cultivation has been popular since ancient times, and the town produces carnations, sweet peas, and other flowers. In recent years, industry has developed significantly, and residential development is also progressing. Area: 13.34 ^km2 . Population: 47,672 (2010).
