A former town in Okawa District, eastern Kagawa Prefecture. Occupying the basin of the Kabe River and the Tsuda River tributaries, rice cultivation using reservoir irrigation, tobacco and vegetable cultivation are thriving. The main settlement is Ishida along the Nagao Kaido road.
