The title of a jiuta piece. Also known as "Sake." Composed by Kikuoka Kengyo of Kyoto. Lyrics by Shimada Ryozo (producer). A koto melody composed by Yaezaki Kengyo is performed as an ensemble, and it is a jiuta koto piece of Kyoto-style tegotomono. It is characterized by a form with two tegotomono parts, and frequent interplay between the sangen and koto. It is a honchomono piece. Originally a piece of Ikuta school, it has also been transferred to Yamada school koto music. 地歌の曲名。別名「酒」。京都の菊岡検校作曲。島田両三 (造) 作詞。和漢の故事を並べて酒の徳をたたえたもの。八重崎検校作曲の箏の旋律が合奏され,いわゆる京風手事物の地歌箏曲として行われる。手事が2ヵ所にある形式で,特に三弦と箏との掛合の多いのが特色。本調子物。本来生田流の曲であるが,山田流箏曲にも移されている。
