Born on April 25, 1897. He became an elementary school teacher, and in 1921 he organized the SNK Association, calling for a revolution in the world of education, and published the coterie magazine Kyokuhoku. In 1921 he moved to Tokyo and launched the national magazine Tsuzurikata Life, and also established a local publishing company to publish Tsuzurikata Reader. He worked to popularize the Tsuzurikata education movement. He passed away on October 10, 1937. He was 41 years old. He was from Kochi Prefecture and graduated from Kochi Normal School.
