Located in Sakuragaoka-cho, Nada-ku, Kobe City, this site was excavated in 1964 from a borrow pit near the ridge at an altitude of about 240m on the southern foot of Mt. Rokko. The bronze bells were apparently lined up in a row within an area of 1m x 1.5m. The bronze bells are 21.4-64.2cm high, and include four with outer-rimmed knobs and ten with flat knobs. Three of the former have a flowing water design divided into two sections, and there are products made from the same mold at other sites.
