Sagami

Japanese: 相摸 - さがみ

A female poet of the Heian period. Her birth and death dates are unknown. She died sometime after March 1061 (Kōhei 4), at the age of over 60. Her biological father is unknown, and she was raised by Minamoto no Yorimitsu. Her mother was the daughter of Yoshishige Yasuaki. She became the wife of Sagami no Kami Oe no Kinsuke and served Princess Shūshi, but exchanged love gifts with Fujiwara no Sadayori, Minamoto no Sukenori, Tachibana no Norinaga, and Fujiwara no Tsunehira, and was particularly close to Sadayori and Norinaga. She wrote poems in the Kaya-in Suikaku Uta-awase, Eishō 4nen Dairi Uta-awase, and Kisai no Miya Shunju Uta-awase, and left behind the family anthologies Sagami-shū and Omoi-jō-shū. She is a representative poet of the Goshui Wakashu.

平安朝の女流歌人。生没年不詳。1061年(康平4)3月以後，60歳以上の年齢で没した。実父は不明，源頼光に養われる。母は慶滋（よししげ）保章女。相模守大江公資の妻となり，脩子内親王に仕えるが，藤原定頼，源資通，橘則長，藤原経衡と恋の贈答をし，定頼，則長とはとくに親密であった。《賀陽（かや）院水閣歌合》《永承四年内裏歌合》《皇后宮（きさいのみや）春秋歌合》に出詠し，家集《相摸集》《思女集》を残す。《後拾遺和歌集》を代表する歌人。
