雲形文様のこと。中国の美術工芸品に広く用例があり,形状により宝雲文,雲雷文,流雲文,霊芝 (れいし) 雲文などという。単純な曲線で雲を象徴的に表わし,漢代の奔放で変化に富む形,唐代の霊芝の形のように時代によって形に特色が生じた。雲文は日本にも伝来し,古くは正倉院の工芸品をはじめ各種工芸品に使われている。
