…Especially after the Book of Songs, it was the first literature in the world to incorporate the technique of rhyme in abundance, and it was possible to form a fairly clear system of sounds by combining the techniques of Chinese characters such as rhyme, phonetic sounds, and borrowed words. Chinese researchers call the form of Chinese language of this period "Upper Ancient Chinese" (the translation of the name "chinois archaïque" by the Swedish Karlgren), and "Middle Chinese" (ancien chinois) by the same Karlgren, when the period when the sound was better understood by the "cut rhyme" of Lu Fayan of the Sui Dynasty in 601, and the designation of sounds by "anti" was obtained more than just as a framework.
