[Raw] 32 [Died] 16 April 69. Roman emperor (reigned 69). He was a close aide to Emperor Nero, but he handed over his wife Poppaea Sabina to Nero and was appointed governor of Lusitania in Spain. In 68 he sided with S. Galba in a rebellion against Nero, and after Galba ascended to the throne, he overthrew him and ascended to the throne. However, he was defeated by Vitellius at the Battle of Cremona and committed suicide.
