Sayyid Dynasty - Sayyid Dynasty (English spelling)

A Muslim dynasty (1414-51) with its capital in Delhi, India. It was the fourth dynasty of the so-called Delhi Sultanate. It was founded by Khizr Khan, one of Timur's generals, after the previous Tughluq dynasty had completely declined due to Timur's invasion in 1398. However, the dynasty was weak and fell within 40 years, to be replaced by the Lodi dynasty.

インドのデリーに都を置いたムスリム王朝（1414～51）。いわゆるデリー・サルタナットの4番目の王朝。その前のトゥグルク朝が1398年のティームールの侵略によってまったく衰退してしまったのち、ティームールの一部将であったヒズル・ハーンによって創始された。しかし、王朝は弱体で、40年たらずで滅亡、ローディー朝にかわった。
