Sahagun
Franciscan priest born in Spain. In 1529, he traveled to New Spain (Mexico) and taught at the college in Tlatelolco. He collected ethnographic materials on the Indians and completed the Historia de Azteca (History of the Aztecs). The book is famous as the first historical source on Aztec culture.
