Outlet - Consent

Japanese:
Outlet - Consent

A common name for the socket used to connect low-voltage indoor wiring to electrical appliance cords. The correct name is plug socket. There are two-, three-, and four-pole sockets, and in addition to general indoor use, there are also hook-on (twist-lock), waterproof, explosion-proof, and grounded types. There are four standard capacities: 15 amp, 20 amp, 30 amp, and 50 amp, and the operating voltage is 100 volts or 200 volts. The product and performance of the socket and plug combination are specified in the Electrical Appliance and Material Safety Act and JIS (Japanese Industrial Standards), while the construction is specified in the Electrical Equipment Technical Standards and Internal Wiring Regulations (private regulations that specify the contents described in the "Interpretation of Technical Standards for Electrical Equipment"). In the same place of use, different sockets with different structures are used for each electrical system to avoid confusion between electrical systems and circuit classifications. Furthermore, the general rule is that one device should be connected to one outlet, and running cords around the appliance to handle multiple loads should be avoided.
