This is a three-volume choral textbook published in Munich in 1876 by the German pianist and composer Franz Wüllner (1832-1902). The title means "chorus exercises." According to the preface, the goal of this textbook was to help students acquire the ability to think musically through choral singing, in other words, to learn beautiful choral sounds, clear and correct pronunciation of words, and artistic nuances through the power of melodic progression, rhythm, pitch, and harmony. The etudes are accompanied by timely explanations, and the book includes a variety of exercises, ranging from small etudes composed by the author himself, classified by difficulty level, to large choral pieces from the Renaissance and Baroque periods.
