Rubber plate - rubber plate

Rubber plate - rubber plate
A printing plate made from natural or synthetic rubber. Rubber stamps (rubber stamps) are widely used for making impressions, but the term rubber plate refers to a printing plate. Because rubber is elastic, it is used for printing on materials made from rough-surfaced paper such as cement bags and cardboard, as well as for printing on paraffin paper. It is generally used as a plate for the printing method known as flexography (aniline printing). A drawback of rubber is that thin lines and dots can become distorted if it is pressed too hard against the printing surface, so it is printed with very light pressure.
