Koshiki (English: Gu-shi-ji)

Japanese: 古詩紀 - こしき（英語表記）Gu-shi-ji

A collection of classical Chinese poetry. Compiled by Feng Weinu (?-1572) of the Ming Dynasty. 156 volumes. The correct title is Shiji. The 10 volumes of the pre-Han collection are ancient poems (rhymed songs, songs, proverbs, inscriptions, etc. from before the Han Dynasty that are recorded in various books), the 130 volumes of the main collection are poems from the Han to Sui Dynasties, the 4 volumes of the outer collection are poems by ghosts and immortals found in old novels and writings, and the 12 volumes of the special collection are poems by people of the past, each arranged in chronological order and by author. It is the largest collection of ancient poetry before the Tang Dynasty, and subsequent anthologies and collections, such as Gu Shiyuan and Zen Han, Sanguo Jin Nanbei Dynasty Shi, are based on this book. However, it is said to contain a fair number of forgeries and errors, and Feng Shu of the Qing Dynasty's Shiji Kuangbiu is a verification of it.

中国の古典詩集。明の馮維訥 (ふういとつ。?～1572) の編。 156巻。正しくは『詩紀』という。前集 10巻に古逸詩 (諸書にばらばらに記録されている漢以前の歌，謡，諺，銘などの韻文) ，正集 130巻に漢から隋までの詩，外集4巻に古い小説や筆記中にみえる鬼仙の詩，別集 12巻に前人の詩話を，それぞれ時代順，作者別に収めている。唐以前の古詩の最大の総集で，『古詩源』『全漢三国晋南北朝詩』など，その後に出た選集，総集は本書をもととしている。ただ偽作や誤りがやや多いとされ，清の馮舒 (ふうじょ) の『詩紀匡繆 (きょうびゅう) 』はそれを考証したもの。
