A law enacted during World War II (1941) to crack down on acts of treason. It punished acts such as leaking state secrets, gathering diplomatic, financial, economic and other information for the purpose of reporting to foreign countries, spreading false rumors that harmed public order, and disrupting the operation of the national economy. It also established special cases for criminal procedures, placing significant restrictions on people's freedom.
