Japanese: 硬鑞 - こうろう

Also known as hard solder. Alloys used for soldering are collectively called solders, and those with a melting point of 450°C or higher are called hard solders. Anything below that is called soft solder or solder. In addition to brass solder, hard solders include silver solder (40-70% silver with copper, zinc, etc. added), gold solder (40-60% gold with silver and copper), phosphorus copper solder, and aluminum solder, and are used to join products made of the respective metals and alloys.

硬質はんだとも。鑞付(ろうづけ)に使う合金を鑞と総称し，そのうち融点が450℃以上のものを硬鑞という。それ以下のものは軟鑞，あるいははんだと呼ばれる。硬鑞には黄銅鑞のほか，銀鑞（銀40〜70％に銅，亜鉛などを加える），金鑞（金40〜60％に銀，銅を加える）やリン銅鑞，アルミニウム鑞などがあり，それぞれの金属，合金製品の接合に使用される。
