A governor of the late Tang Dynasty in China. His courtesy name was Qianli, and he was from Youzhou (Beijing). He started out as an officer in the Imperial Guard, and served as the governor of Annan, the governor of the Jing Navy, the governor of the Tenpyo Army, the governor of the West River, and the governor of Jingnan, and made a great contribution to the suppression of the Tanguts and Nanzhao. During the Huang Chao Rebellion, he defeated the Huang Chao army that was invading eastern Zhejiang, forcing them to move to Fujian and Guangdong, and became the commander-in-chief of the government forces as the governor of various provinces. However, he remained in his administrative center of Yangzhou, and after that, he was not proactive in suppressing the Huang Chao army that had occupied Chang'an, but only watched the situation unfold.

中国，唐末の節度使。字は千里，幽州(北京)の人。禁軍の将校から身を起こし，安南都護，静海軍節度使，天平軍節度使，西川節度使，荆南節度使を歴任して，党項（タングート）や南詔の討伐に功績をあげた。黄巣の乱に際しては，浙東へ侵攻する黄巣軍を撃破して福建･広東方面への転進を一時は余儀なくさせ，諸道行営都統として官軍の総帥となった。しかし治所揚州に居すわったままで，その後，長安を占拠した黄巣軍の討伐に積極的ではなく，形勢を観望するのみであった。
