Naganuma [town] - Naganuma
A town in Yubari County, Hokkaido. The eastern part is hilly, and the western part was a low, marshy area surrounded by rivers and swamps, but was reclaimed after the Yubari River was rerouted in 1896. The fertile, arable land is extensive, and fruit trees and field crops are cultivated. Dairy farming is also practiced in the southern part of the hilly area. The western part is a lowland covered with rice paddies. Area: 168.52 km2 . Population: 11,691 (2010).

Naganuma [town] [Naganuma]

An old town in Iwase County, in the central south of Fukushima Prefecture. Naganuma in the center was the castle town of the Naganuma clan in the early modern period, and later the Matsudaira clan's camp was located there. Rice fields are developed in the lowlands of the Ebana River. In April 2005, it was incorporated into Iwase Village, Iwase County, and Sukagawa City. 60.34 km2 . 6,734 people (2003).

長沼[町]【ながぬま】

福島県中南部,岩瀬郡の旧町。中心の長沼は近世初期長沼氏の城下,のち松平氏の陣屋が置かれた。江花(えばな)川の低地に水田が開ける。2005年4月岩瀬郡岩瀬村と須賀川市へ編入。60.34km2。6734人(2003)。
