A Dzungar prince and a fighter in the Mongolian anti-Qing independence struggle. After Dzungar king Dawachi ascended to the throne (1753), he fell out with Dzungar and was defeated. He then went under false pretenses to the Qing and sought aid from Emperor Qianlong. As a result, the Qing army cooperated with Amursana to destroy the Dzungar kingdom in 1755 (the 20th year of the Qianlong era). However, Amursana was not allowed to inherit the kingdom's rule, so he rebelled against the Qing. He was defeated in 1757 and fled to Russia, where he died of illness. As a result, the Qing dynasty's rule over Dzungar was established.

ジュンガル王国の領侯で，モンゴリアにおける反清独立闘争の闘士。ジュンガル王国の王ダワチの即位(1753)後，これと不和をきたして敗れ，清に偽って下って乾隆帝に援助を求めた。このため清軍はアムルサナと協力して1755年(乾隆20)ジュンガル王国を滅ぼしたが，アムルサナは王国の支配権の継承を許されなかったので清に対して反乱を起こし，57年敗れてロシアへ逃れて病死した。この結果，清朝のジュンガル支配が確立した。
