Amakusa version
〘noun〙 A typeface published by the Jesuits on Amakusa Island in Kumamoto Prefecture between 1590 and 1614 in the early modern period. Christian editions. These include 'Dochirinakirishitan', 'The Tale of the Heike', 'The Tale of Isoho', 'Kinkakushu', 'Roman-Portuguese Dictionary' and 'Romantic Grammar'.
