Alert - keiho
〘 noun 〙 To warn people to be on alert when danger is imminent. Also, to give notice of such danger. To warn people in advance of dangers such as storms, floods, fires, and air raids by radio, television, sirens, bells, etc. ※Nihon Gaishi (1827) vol. 14 " Nobunaga gave an alarm and ordered Narimasa and others to refuse to return ." ※Ai Te Tsuushin (1894-95)〈Kunikida Doppo〉Hato "Suddenly, an alarm was heard."
