…The numerous bones are also organs that make up the skeletal system. However, in terms of physiological function, these two are sometimes combined to form the locomotor system, and the skeleton is sometimes considered the support system. Of the nine groups listed above, the skeletal system, muscular system, and vascular system are simply classified based on morphology, while the others are classified based on function.
