An organization of managers formed for a specific purpose, and can be an industry-specific or regional organization, or even a federation of these. In Japan, industry-specific organizations include the Japan Iron and Steel Federation, the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association (JAMA), the Petroleum Association of Japan, and the Federation of Japanese Bankers Associations (Zenginkyo). Regional organizations include local chambers of commerce and industry, and regional managers' associations such as the Kanto Managers' Association. National federations include the Japan Business Federation (Keidanren), the Japan Federation of Employers' Associations (Nikkeiren), and the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI).
