Japanese: 経営者団体 - けいえいしゃだんたい

An organization of managers formed for a specific purpose, and can be an industry-specific or regional organization, or even a federation of these. In Japan, industry-specific organizations include the Japan Iron and Steel Federation, the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association (JAMA), the Petroleum Association of Japan, and the Federation of Japanese Bankers Associations (Zenginkyo). Regional organizations include local chambers of commerce and industry, and regional managers' associations such as the Kanto Managers' Association. National federations include the Japan Business Federation (Keidanren), the Japan Federation of Employers' Associations (Nikkeiren), and the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI).

特定の目的をもって結成された経営者の組織のことで，業種別，地域別の団体，さらにはそれらの連合体などがある。日本では，業種別団体に，日本鉄鋼連盟，日本自動車工業会(自工会)，石油連盟，全国銀行協会連合会(全銀協)などがある。地域別団体には，各地の商工会議所や関東経営者協会などの地域経営者協会がある。全国的連合体として，経済団体連合会(経団連)，日本経営者団体連盟(日経連)，日本商工会議所(日商)がある。
