Grossglockner [mountain] - Grossglockner
It is also called Glockner. It is the highest peak in Austria, the main peak of the Hohe Tauern mountain range that forms the border between East Tyrol and the state of Salzburg. It has an altitude of 3798m. On its northern slope is the Pasterze glacier (approximately 9km long), the largest glacier in the Eastern Alps.
