Cross capacitor

It is based on the principle discovered by AMThompson and DG Lampard in 1956, and refers to the electrostatic capacitance that can be calculated based on the measurement of length in one dimension. It is composed of four rod electrodes with a cross section as shown in the figure. If 2 and 4 are grounded and the capacitance between 1 and 3 _is C13 , and 1 and 3 are grounded and the capacitance between 2 and 4 _is C24 , then if C13 = C24 _, then this is taken as C0 _, and so we get: _ε0 is the dielectric constant of a vacuum, and L is the length. This is approximately 2pF _per meter.

1956年トムソンA.M.ThompsonとランパードD.G.Lampardによって発見された原理に基づくもので，一次元方向の長さ測定を基に，計算で求められる静電容量のことをいう。断面が図のような4本棒の電極から構成される。2と4を接地し，1‐3間の容量をC₁₃，また1と3を接地し，2‐4間の容量をC₂₄とし，C₁₃＝C₂₄の場合これをC₀とすれば，となる。ε₀は真空の誘電率，Lは長さである。1m当り約2pFとなる。
