(Güyük) The third emperor of the Mongol Empire (reigned 1246-48 ). His posthumous name was Teiso. He was the eldest son of Ogedei. He participated in the Russian expedition and made a great contribution to the subjugation of the Kievan Rus'. He ascended to the throne in 1246 and worked to strengthen the imperial power, but died soon after due to poor health. Takayoshi. Koyo Katsu.
