Stupid policy - Guminseisaku

Japanese: 愚民政策 - ぐみんせいさく

It is one of the policies adopted to suppress the critical consciousness of the masses and make them submit to the system. Typical examples of this policy include education policies that keep the masses illiterate and media censorship that does not provide accurate information to the masses. However, the most ingenious policy to keep the people ignorant is a policy that satisfies the superficial tastes of the masses and immerses them in a non-political lifestyle.
