Frogfish - Frogfish

Japanese: イザリウオ - いざりうお
Frogfish - Frogfish

This is the former name for fish in the order Anchorinthidae of the class Bony Fishes. Until 2006, fish in the family Antennariidae were classified in the order Anchorinthidae of the order Anchorinthidae, but in January 2007, the Ichthyological Society of Japan changed the standard Japanese name to frog anglerfish because it contained discriminatory words.
