A painter at the Drawing Office in the late Yi Dynasty of Korea. His pen name was Shineng, and his pen names were Danwon, Dangui, Seohoo, and Zhu Zuiong. He painted landscapes, people, flowers, and birds, but he excelled in genre paintings, and many of his works remain, including "A Collection of Genre Paintings" (National Museum of Korea) and "Listening to a Nightingale on Horseback." His "Fighting Dogs," attributed to Kim Hong-do, is a realistic work that makes use of the shading of ink, and it shows the Western painting techniques that were introduced during the Qing dynasty.

朝鮮，李朝後期の図画署の画員。字は士能，号は壇園，丹邱，西湖，輒醉翁。山水，人物，花鳥なども描いたが，特に風俗画に秀で，『風俗図帖』 (韓国国立中央博物館) ，『馬上聴鶯図』など多くの遺品がある。また伝金弘道筆の『闘犬図』は墨の濃淡を生かした写実的作品で，清代に伝えられた西洋画法をくみ取ることができる。
