A Chinese thinker and scholar of I Ching in the Western Han Dynasty. Born in Dongqiu. His pen name was Junming. His surname was Li, later changed to Jing. He learned I Ching from Jiao Yanshou and was skilled at predicting disasters and other events, predicting them several months to a year in advance, and his predictions often came true. He served Emperor Yuan and rose to the position of governor of Wei County, but was executed for slander. His I Ching was characterized by the use of the Bunka Chokujitsu (six days, seven minutes) and the 12 Message Hexagrams to predict disasters and other events (abnormal phenomena that occur as a reflection of bad politics). The existing "Jingshi Yiden" (Jingshi Yiden) is mainly based on the calculation method, so it is doubtful whether it is Jingfang's theory.
