Princess Anahobe no Hashihito - Princess Anahobe no Hashihito
Year of death: 21 December 29th (7 February 622)
Year of birth: unknown. Daughter of Emperor Kinmei and Soga no Oane. Empress of Emperor Yomei. Mother of Prince Shotoku. Also known as Princess Dorobe Anahobe, Prince Anaobe no Otomo, Princess Anaobe no Otomo, Empress Jinzen, Empress Onizaki, and Prince Anaobe no Otomo. She became the wife of her half-brother Tachibana Toyohi no Mikoto (Emperor Yomei), and while touring the various offices of the Imperial Court in the third year of the reign of Emperor Bidatsu (574), she is said to have given birth to Prince Shotoku easily in front of the stables of the horse riding official. She gave birth to a total of four sons. She became empress in the first year of the reign of Emperor Yomei (586). After Yomei's death, she remarried her stepson Prince Tami no Otomo, and gave birth to Princess Satsuma. She was buried together with Prince Shotoku and his wife Zenbe Bokiki Mirohime in the Isonaga Mausoleum in the grounds of Eifuku-ji Temple in Taishi-cho, Minamikawachi-gun, Osaka Prefecture. She is said to be buried in the stone coffin at the back of the three coffins in the stone chamber.

欽明天皇と蘇我小姉君との皇女。用明天皇の皇后。聖徳太子の母。泥部穴穂部皇女,穴太部間人王,孔部間人 公主,神前皇后,鬼前太后,間人穴太部王とも。異母兄橘豊日尊(用明天皇)の妃となり,敏達3(574)年に宮中の諸司を巡行した際,馬官の厩戸の前で聖徳太子を容易に出産したという。合わせて4男を生んだ。用明1(586)年に皇后となる。用明の死後,継子である多米王と再婚し,佐富女王を生んだ。大阪府南河内郡太子町の叡福寺境内にある磯長陵に,聖徳太子とその妻膳部菩岐岐美郎女と共に合葬された。石室内の3棺のうち,奥正面の石棺に葬られているという。
