Hollow concrete block

...A product made by molding and hardening concrete into a block shape. In architecture, it is mainly used to construct walls. There are hollow concrete blocks, which have a cavity for the purpose of reducing weight or inserting rebar, and thin-plate formwork concrete blocks in L- or Z-shapes, but when simply saying "concrete block," it usually refers to the former. In civil engineering, there are many types, such as for revetments and retaining walls.
