Kintetsu Buffaloes

…This organization, together with the Central League, constitutes the Japanese professional baseball league. Its official name is the Pacific Baseball Association (formerly the Pacific Baseball Association). From 1946 to 1949, the Japan Baseball Association had one league with eight teams, but with the addition of new teams, it split into two leagues. In 1950, the league was formed with seven teams: the Mainichi Orions, Tokyu Flyers, Daiei Stars, Nankai Hawks, Kintetsu Pearls, Hankyu Braves, and Nishitetsu Clippers.
