Kinkei Academy

It was a nationalistic educational organization founded in 1927 (Showa 2) by Yasuoka Masahiro with the support of Count Sakai Tadamasa. It lectured on topics such as Yangmingism and the Japanese national polity, and its lectures were attended by many military personnel, bureaucrats, and business leaders in addition to graduate students. It published a journal, the Kinkei Gakuho, and pamphlets, and at its peak membership reached 12,000-13,000. In 1957, supporters of Yasuoka founded Kokuikai, known as an association of new bureaucrats. The following year, under the guidance of the academy, the Japan Industrial Labor Club, a Japanese nationalist labor union, was formed.

1927年（昭和2）安岡正篤(まさひろ)が伯爵酒井忠正(ただまさ)の援助を得て設立した国家主義的教化団体。陽明(ようめい)学をはじめ日本国体研究などを講じたが、院生のほか多くの軍人、官僚、財界人が聴講。機関誌『金鶏学報』やパンフレットを発行し、会員数も最盛時には1万2000～3000名にも達したという。32年安岡の支持者たちで創設されたのが新官僚の結合体といわれる国維会(こくいかい)である。翌33年には学院の指導により日本主義労働組合である日本産業労働倶楽部(クラブ)が結成された。
