Gilgai (English spelling)
This term is of Australian origin and was described in relation to hilly land. The terrain is made up of circular hills 1m in diameter and depressions 1.5m in diameter, formed by the expansion and contraction of calcareous soil [Ollier: 1969]. It means clay in Ukrainian.
