Kamimizo - Kamimizo

Japanese: 上溝 - かみみぞ

A district in the eastern part of Sagamihara City, in the northwest of Kanagawa Prefecture. Located at the foot of a river terrace cliff called Sagami Yokoyama in the western part of the Sagamihara Plateau, the area has been a settlement since ancient times. During the Edo period, it was a market town on the Hachioji Kaido road. A shopping street was formed along National Route 129, and it is one of the city's central areas. The Tana Industrial Park is adjacent to the area.

神奈川県北西部，相模原市東部の地区。相模原台地西部の相模横山と呼ばれる河岸段丘崖下にあり，古くから集落が発達。江戸時代には八王子街道の市場町であった。国道 129号線沿いに商店街が形成され，市の中心地の一つとなっている。隣接して田名工業団地がある。
