〘 noun 〙 A tall tree. In botany, it refers to a tree with a woody, hard trunk that stands upright and is at least three meters tall. Such as oak, pine, and cedar. Today, it is called a tall tree. ⇔ Shrub. ※Kūkashu (around 1359-68) IV : Landscape "How much of a place is there for a human being to stand ?
